A reminder that registration opens tomorrow for the 2015 event. We sold out in six minutes last year so you'll want to be ready to go when it opens. The website has all the details.

Not to add any further controversy, but since I organized the very first Austin MegaDo, this is precisely the criteria I was thinking of, but I think it fit later morphisms as well since we did charter buses...just not planes.

After Tommy launched his MegaDo and copyrighted it, I thought about dropping the MegaDo part of the event name, especially since the latest trend has been to not charter buses in order to direct more towards the events themselves, but since I have now turned it all over to Mackieman and his committee, I'm fine with them making the decision on whether it should still be called a MegaDo.

See, look what you started. It's all your fault that all these people come to Austin to stuff their face with BBQ every year. :-: (We just herd them in the right direction...)

Same here. I was fortunate enough to be sitting in a class when registration went live so I was able to get to the website at 7:00:05.

Looking very forward to seeing everyone ^

My first Austin MegaDO too.

Looks like it's about $120 cheaper to fly into AUS first thing Friday morning instead of late Thursday after my last class. Not to mention the hotel room savings and rental car savings. So I figure I'll arrive first thing (9:44 AM) Friday and go straight to the airport event...which won't be too hard

I'm registered and booked at the Hyatt hotel.

I'm doing:
United Airlines Event - WAITLIST (it's like being on standby list for a completely full flight)
CYOA - Friday Night
Hecklevision @ Alamo Drafthouse
Saturday Afternoon Pubcrawl
Dinner @ Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew
CYOA - Saturday Night
