I'm not going to bother reading the post. But I do wonder if Gary's going to vote for Hillary.

Don't the Kochs support her over Trump?

I actually find it refreshing that a blogger is willing to elucidate their personal beliefs at the cost of lower readership.

I'm so sick of the theoretically unbiased nonsense - Gary is actually putting his cards on the table.

That is true, and I appreciate that about him, even if I don't agree. On the other hand OMAAT often tap-dances around his own opinion of controversial or personal subjects...not that he doesn't post about such things, but I've noticed his expression of opinion is sometimes limited to something along the lines of "I can see both sides of it..." and then ending with the ubiquitous "So what do you readers think?"

Yup - so milquetoast about anything outside his realm. Gary doesn't suffer from that.

He's not the Thought Leader. Thought Leaders don't do anything, whereas Gary has been in the top 3 of card pumping for half a decade!

While I generally don't get that incensed about blog posts, GTL's comment in his "I now love Delta" post that "while much has been made of the lack of an award chart" reveals the vast hypocrisy he wears on his sleeve. And where did the pride of ownership of "Skypesos" go?

You [redacted]. . .

Did you really expect anything else? You are correct he and many others on BA are a bunch of hypocrites.

I also probably shouldn't be stunned that GTL seems to have no sense of the irony that he's going to become the poster child for the fallacy of his own logic that a revenue-based loyalty program, which DL instituted before UA and AA, would cost them business.

Duh, they got yours ol' Gar. How's that for making money "at the margins"?

As I've said in other contexts, there's one less smart guy than Gary thinks there is in any room he's in.

Today's post is "Why Even After American’s Changes They’re Still Better for Me Than Delta".

Looks like he was on the same call with AA execs that Ben was. He has posted why Staying with AA makes sense for him.

Read: follow the money

IMHO, he and Ben have zero credibility.
