There's an extensive list in the Travel Tools forum. It was started before this forum came into existence.

Arrow GlobeTrotters on Twitter | Gary Leff

Hi Guys

I hope this is the right forum for this. If not, my sincere apologies.

My fascination and passion for Travel and Twitter made me start this series called "GlobeTrotters on Twitter" few weeks back on my blog, where I chat up with leading personalities from the Aviation and Travel Industry.

I recently had a chat with Gary Leff, arguably the most influential frequent flying blogger, and I wanted to share the same with all of you.

Happy Reading

To the Mods:

This is a wonderful new forum and a very helpful sticky thread with a terrific Wikipost list at the top. Thank you. Two small suggestions.

It would be additionally helpful to see FT screen names/user names added to the list of blogs above. Some bloggers are gracious enough to indicate their blog in their user name (e.g., “ingy formerly known as Frugal Travel Guy”) or as a “signature” line at the bottom of their posts (e.g., sbm12: Hack.Travel | Cash Back on Booking Blog | Twitter | Tools |) but it seems that some do not. The veterans and highly active folks here all know who is who but for those of us with less experience it’s often difficult or impossible to determine.

It would also increase the visibility of the forum if “blog” or “blogger” were included in the title. FT is a very large site and even regular users can be overwhelmed by the massive amount of information and large number of forums. I was unaware of this forum until I noticed something TODAY which was posted in April. (SkiAdcock: On April 11, 2013, Talkboard passed 6-2-0: "Talkboard recommends the creation of a Points & Miles Blogs Forum") I then did a Google search for “flyertalk blog forum” and it took a bit of looking to finds this forum. Perhaps adding “blog” to the title would be helpful: Blogs and other External Miles and Points Resources or External Miles and Points Resources including Blogs.

Thank you very much.
Respectfully and gratefully,

I'm not 100% sure, but 'outing' FT members without their consent is probably not in the spirit of the community. The current solution where bloggers pimp their blog in the signature is the best we can offer right now.

As far as forum titles are concerned, I guess you have move TB for that or contact the CD. EM&PR is not all about blogs though...

Read up this TB discussion thread so you'll know how EMPR Forum was conceptualized and named:

Thank you for the replies.

“Outing” or “appropriate disclosure”?

Thanks again.

Why is that so many of these blogs focus on where you can earn a couple points and no one talks about purchasing points. There are many pluses and dangers to this but no one has started a thread on this !!

There are many threads on it, actually. And many blog posts about it, too. Dozens this week alone. And the main reason most don't talk about it is because it is often more expensive than other means to acquire the points.
