Accessing Pullman Restaurant from Standard Class on GWR?

My wife and I are traveling from Paddington to Cardiff on the one daily GWR train with a restaurant, leaving at 10:15 am. We're in standard class, so won't have the priority for restaurant car access that first class travelers enjoy. On the other hand, the departure time isn't prime meal time.

Can someone give the odds of us getting into the restaurant car for this relatively short 2-hour trip? And the quality of the Welsh brunch.

Thanks....

I'd be astonished if the restaurant car was full. (Is it a weekday or a weekend?) It's way too early for lunch, and most people will have had breakfast by then.
