Transporting human ashes

I would like to transport my mom's ashes to the Netherlands via airline. Does anyone know what the Netherlands policies are for bringing human ashes from the USA. I found information for the airline requirements but not Netherlands policies. Thanks!

Your best bet is to contact a Dutch embassy/consulate and ask. Then you'll know definitively.

You can also call the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) which offers assistance on international repatriation 1-800-228-6332.
