"Boys" week to Amsterdam

Afternoon all,

my son (10yrs) and myself want to spend a week in the Netherlands.
Travel dates: 11/17-11/25.
We are in the IAH area.

The least expensive flight with one stop will be around $750.
Is there any chance that these prices will drop? Or have a non stop for about the same price?
I have looked just about all websites I know, incl. Google Flights.
Turkish Airlines is a no-go for us.
Priceline has "Express Deals" but you don't know what you get until you pay.
We have Chase UR points if that makes a difference. Booking through Chase portal does not seem to be so much cheaper.

I would appreciate any guidance.
This will be out first trip together.
We will have accommodation in The Netherlands.
Thank you,

If you have Chase UR points which you can convert to FB miles, you can look at award tickets, there is a direct IAH-AMS flight with KLM, it is 85K miles and ~170€ for your dates, or as low as 50K miles if you are flexible with the dates (e.g. flying 19-27 instead of 17-25)
