Trying to find a restaurant under a bridge in Amsterdam

10+ years ago I was taken to a restaurant under a bridge...inside it was "unfinished" and somewhat cave-like and the food was great.
But I can't remember the name and google searching has not been helpful.
Can anyone help with a name?

Are you sure this was in Amsterdam and not in Utrecht?

very, very similar...the thing that is definitely different is the inside ceilings....we remember them as "bricky" and not smooth...all other aspects are a match....but it was more than 10 years ago...
Thanks!

As only Utrecht has wharves at the canal-level from which quite a lot have been converted to restaurants/bars, and Amsterdam doesn't - I agree it probably is Utrecht. Your best bet is to check out google maps (street name: Oudegracht) and check the names of the places or street view if anything might ring a bell! Many of them have "cave-like" interiors.. Maybe Het Oude Pothuys could perhaps match your description as it's the first I'm thinking off, but there are quite a few other places like this!

I like this post because a. I am fixing to go to Utrecht/Amsterdam so I will check this restaurant out but b. because I am not the only one who goes to conferences and has blurry memories.
