Well, as I fine-tune my schedule it seems like I'm restricted based on flight schedules.
EDIT: After doing a backwards-pass on my itinerary (seeing what flights are available from either KRK/PRG/BUD to CPH before my CPH flight home), I got this path:
CPH for ~ 2days
CPH->KRK
KRK for 2 days
KRK->BUD Sleeper Train
BUD for 3 days
BUD -> PRG Sleeper
PRG for 3 days
PRG -> CPH

I can sleep through anything. I'm also planning to spoil myself in one of these countries with a nice hotel to balance out hostel living.
I left Amsterdam last for that same reason, although it does make sense since it's nearby Copenhagen, which is my 'hub'.
If I do cut it out of the trip, which countries would get the extra 2 days? I'm thinking Prague and Budapest.

If you are flying, it doesn't matter whether you have Budapest, Prague or Amsterdam as your last stop - all are close to Copenhagen flighttime wise.
I would also fly from Copenhagen to Prague to save time.
If you book tickets well ahead on SAS or Norwegian, it's normally possible to get cheap tickets. And as I mentioned elsewhere, these airlines don't punish you for buying single tickets.
Take a look at their monthly pricing calendar, it might help you plan when to stay where.
Add: I'm sorry, didn't see your last post before I posted.
Seems you have checked the flights and I think your schedule looks fine.
I'm assuming you are flying to Krakow.

Now you have time to prepare and make sure you have a proper experience and avoid usual tourist traps.

Yes, Prague and Budapest could use the extra days.

Flying to Krakow. I checked my return flight back to the hub and the only one that worked was PRG->CPH.
Is it too early to buy that flight? It's $77CAD right now via Norwegian. Everything else will be on the fly but looks like I'll be ending up in Prague last.

Nice job, Travelgenio. Charging me $10 to pay.
I'm booking elsewhere just to spite you.
EDIT: I refreshed the site and now it didn't charge extra. Weird.
PRG->CPH is booked so now everything in-between can be whatever haha.
As a foodie, where would you prioritize your travels within my destinations?
I'll be there early September.

No, don't extend, your schedule looks fine as it is - Budapest is also really nice
( and Krakow as well ).
And you have come a long way and might as well see as much as you can.

If I'm right that 77CAD is about 430 DKK then it is a fine price. No reason not to buy now if you are sure of your schedule. I'm assuming that this flight is the day before your flight home - Norwegian has no partners and therefore can't reroute you on other carriers in case of cancellation.

Prague, Budapest and Krakow are nice places for food.
You get more for your money foodwise in Eastern Europe than in Western Europe.

I mean Eastern Europe. Seems like Prague is foodie heaven.
As for the flight, I hope it doesn't get cancelled but if it does, my credit card has trip interruption insurance. If that's an issue, then I'll have to pay the piper
I think hostel life is appropriate for all spots and then reward myself with a nice hotel in Prague.
I'll have to check the other threads but I'm open to hostel options in any of my destinations!

Budapest is very good too.
I enjoyed this restaurant - 4 or 8 courses with wine pairing :

If you like buffets, maybe you'll enjoy this :

In Prague I can recommend Cestr, 3 course menu :

And this one was fun to try - the waiters come to your table with different meats on huge skewers :

Usually that's me as well; one day buffer but Europe is once-in-a-lifetime. I've also never done this little playtime in-between flights so it'll be like The Amazing Race!
Have to take risks somewhere. Who knows when I'll be back
Thanks. Their menus look tantalising. The Brazilian rodizio is common here in Calgary so I'll pass that.
I'm going for the local experience such as open-faced sandwiches, herring, gulasch loaded with paprika, and beer!
