Question Austria - Baden bei Wien

In mid-November, I'll have full 4 days in Vienna, the city that I love.

I came across Baden bei Wien, not far from the city of Vienna.
My question is about how to get there by public transport. From what I found online, I understand that I can take bus 360 at the Opera and get to Baden in about half an hour of EUR 5.40.

Can anybody elaborate and/or provide more info what is a 'must see' there in about hald a day?

You can also take the "Badener Bahn" (basically, a tram) from Karlsplatz as well, which might be a bit more comfortable than the bus.

I used to live in Vienna, and the Badener Bahn was one of the lines I could use to get to/come home (I lived near Matzleinsdorfer Platz). It was also my way of getting to Ikea! Sadly, I never actually made it to Baden itself!

You can also take the "normal" train which is quicker than the Baden Lokalbahn (which is really a glorified tram service), although the OeBB station in Baden is about a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town (but you could take the Lokalbahn for the last couple of stops - it passes by the railway station).

............ tagging along here!

Is Baden worth the ride out? Any Christmas stalls or markets by any chance? And although longer - is the tram ride intersting?

Thanks.
