Pre-clearance at Abu Dhabi
guys
I'm on a BOM-JFK flight soon and have packed plenty of eatables in my luggage such as assorted bread, snacks, sweets from India (nothing that's banned bringing into the US).
This is where I guess I'll put a tick mark but hope they don't see it as me bringing live plants, etc
I am (We are) bringing fruits, vegetables, plants, seeds food, insects

Thanks

Your question has nothing to do with Etihad, Abu Dhabi, or immigration preclearance specifically. You are asking about general US Customs procedures.
Therefore, you are likely to get more knowledgeable answers in places other than the Etihad forum. Admittedly, there is no section of FT discussing Customs specifically, but http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/check...icy-debate-687 will have knowledgeable people.

Thanks SeeBuyFly for the suggestion. I'll close the thread here, and the OP can review the link you offered for more research.
