Wouldn't EK F passengers get access into the BA F Lounge or no because they aren't OW?

EK F passengers only get BA Galleries Club J lounge access as do EK J passengers, as a special paid arrangement between EK and BA during the refurb, but until ~ October at the latest. Even if an EK passenger has oneworld emerald status / BA Gold Guest List / a BA Concorde room card, they don't get access to the T3 galleries first, as they are not flying on a oneworld flight.

Is the F lounge in AUH3 open? CONJECTURE: Oct 2015

the main reason for maintaining Platinum is for the first lounge, it has been so long I cannot even remember when it closed !

My Platinum membership has been an absolute bust. we should be given a year's extension !

@EtihadHelp

The lounges have been closed for a while so a summarywhich may be of use to passengers. Please amend if any info is incorrect:

The T1 business lounge opening hours are 24/7/365

The T1 first lounge opening hours are 24/7/365

The lounges are co-located and can be found [maps of T1 don't show them as they have been closed]

The EY business lounge is open to all EY business class passengers departing from AUH on any EY operated flight irrespective of departing terminal. For Etihad guest silver and gold (+1 guest) card holders departing from AUH on any EY operated flight irrespective of departing terminal they have access to a business lounge defined (as of 16 July 2015) as being the Al Reem lounge in AUH and not the EY lounge in AUH. For guests, both the cardholder and their guest must be on EY operated flights and the guest must be on a commercial ticket.

The first lounge is open to all first class passengers or platinum card holders (+1 guest) departing from AUH on any EY operated flight irrespective of departing terminal. For guests both the cardholder and their guest must be on EY operated flights, and the guest must be on a commercial ticket.

You may wish to amend note 13 of the Etihad guest status chart:
The First and Business Class Lounge at Terminal 1 and the First class Lounge at Terminal 3 in Abu Dhabi [is] are closed for redevelopment
And the main lounge page

[quote]Please note, the First and Business Class Lounge at Terminal 1 and First Class Lounge at Terminal 3 are currently closed for refurbishment. Whilst these works are completed Guests are invited to use the following alternate lounges:

Terminal 1 – Al Reem Lounge or Al Dhabi Lounge (both operated by Plaza Premium)
Terminal 3 – Etihad Airways Premium Lounge

All Gold and Silver members are allowed to the business-class lounge? That would be new. Where did you got this information from?
That would be an amazing change.

Silver gets business lounge
Gold gets business lounge plus a guest
Platinum gets first lounge plus a guest

It does say Al Reem for Abu Dhabi, but the EY business lounge at other places. Presumably the Al Reem access is withdrawn as their own lounge is open instead.

I really doubt that silver and gold member will get access. It has been the Al Reem lounge for a long time and it also will be... If they would let "everyone" in than the lounges would be even more crowded as they already are
