We have a Limousine booked which will be picking 2 x pax up at 5am going to Manchester Airport which is approx 40 mins away. Can someone please advise how much we should tip each way.
For me, the tip to the driver depends on if the driver had to wait for me and did I have a carry-on only or three huge pieces of checked bags. The drivers professionalism very much comes into consideration too. On a hundred dollar ride, I give on average 15-20 dollars but realize others give more or less.

$15-20? I thought this was generous. I guess I need to up my game

Typically I do not tip airline/hotel limo drivers but will if they are especially courteous & prompt, (& also clean & fresh - no, not just the cars!). Each to their own on this one.

Whow, I never tip the EY or EK limo drivers. I also do not tip the lounge staff in the hotel club lounge (who help me at breakfast) or the stewardess (who takes care of me during a 10 hour flight).
On Flyertalk I learnt that many of you do tip the drivers. From other sources I learnt that hotel lounge employees in Arab 5-star hotels make a multiple of their salary from tips. And from some FA friends I know that it still happens more often than not that FC passengers purchase a nice "Thank you" gift from the duty free catalogue (I assume only with best intentions ...).
I am from a "high taxes - no tips" culture in a Northern European country, and I am also an economist by education, so tipping is a generally alien concept to me.
