Baggage limit on airberlin operated flights

Introduction: I have searched the forums, but to no avail. Feel free to point me to a thread that answers my questions.

Question: I have an upcoming flight with Etihad from HAM to BKK via DUS and AUH. The first two legs of this journey are operated by airberlin under a EY flight number. Can i check 28 kg of baggage (FF member with EY) all the way to BKK or do i fall under the airberlin baggage rules, which is only 23kg in one piece ?

Your help and comments are much appreciated.

I have never heard of airbelrin.

Could you mean AIRBERLIN ?

Could you use the EDIT feature on your posts ?
