Upgrades from Miles
Hello,
The wife and I have a trip to MLE with First from IAD-AUH and Business from AUH -MLE next summer. Instead of leaving our son with the grandparents we may just take him. EY shows business availability for points IAD-AUH and coach availability for AUH-MLE. (Flying back through BA, so no prob on return.)
If we did book that Business and Coach portion with points I would like to upgrade that third seat!
1. I understand that I can make an offer quickly, after booking and do not need to wait until 5 days out. Is that correct?
2. What should I offer? I am comfortable offering 2-4k, but $1000 would be preferable.
