Is that EK has been already moved up from origin date of Dec. 1 to Nov 30? I'm sure EK will be introduces of A380 from DXB-LHR. I think this is real opportunity for EK will inauguration on operated A380 from DXB-LHR. LHR is a very successful route for EK. It will might to gets double daily from DXB-LHR sometimes in 2009.

if you look on the ek routes for 2009 forum, emirates 777 mentioned that the a380 for lhr will be only jan 2-31, (trial basis) evidentally, then it moves with the 4th ek a380 to ek 412/413 daily dxb-syd-akl, akl-syd-dxb routing to be a daily.

Abidjan (ABJ) will now also upgrade to a daily service, in-line with Accra (ACC) on 30 November. EK787/788 DXB-ACC-ABJ-ACC-DXB will switch over to daily operations effective 30 November, from the current 5x weekly service. The flight continues to operate using A340-300s.

Originally, the plan was to add 2 additional weekly flights DXB-ACC-DXB to bring Accra to a daily.

The delivery of the 5th A380 has been delayed and the aircraft is now expected to be delivered until the end of March 2009. As a result there are some schedule changes.

Effective 1 Feb 2009 the EK412/413 DXB-SYD-AKL will operate using A380s, 3x weekly (Wed, Fri, Sun ex-DXB) and 4x weekly (Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat ex-DXB) using B777-200LR. This schedule will be valid till the end of March 2009.

EK420/421 DXB-PER-DXB will now operate using a B777-200LR on a daily basis effective 1 Feb instead of B777-300ER.

As a result, the upgrade of LAX and SFO to a daily operation has been deferred. Both flights will remain at 3x weekly through to end of March 2009. The delay to both destinations is due to a delay in delivery of one B77W (Boeing Strike related) hence the 2x B77Ls are being allocated to SYD and PER.

The 2nd daily Athens (ATH) service also appears to be deferred. It is not known at the moment when and if this will be implemented.

Effective beginning of February 2009, JED and RUH will be upgraded to daily operations.

EK803/804 DXB-JED-DXB gets a 7th weekly on Tuesdays, operated by B777-300ER

EK817/818 DXB-RUH-DXB gets a 7th weekly on Sundays, operated by B777-200.

More info will be provided when available.

Thanks for the confirmation Emirates777

I noticed this in my online booking today too but hopefully they get the A380 in March as my EK412 in May09 shows a B772LR but luckily EK413 is still A380

Cheers,
