Emirates Seating Guide
A380

First:
A380
First:
- Solo travelers: some say row 4 is loud from the galley behind, while row 1 may be a bit more cramped than other rows. Most suggest rows 2 or 3, seats A or K.
- Couple: E/F seats in rows 1-3 are all fairly similar.
- General: the mini cabin at the back has a more secluded feel, though some comment that there is noise from the bar beyond row 23.
- Solo travelers: most prefer seats A and K (solo seats on sides with windows).
- Couple: aim for seats E/F to be closer together.
- General comments: upgrade if at all possible!
777
First:
- Solo travelers: Row 1, especially 1a and 1k, is the worst because of galley and lavatory right in front. Noisy and high traffic. Not much difference between row 1 and 2 in terms of space on the 77w for k or a seats.
- Couple: there is not really any difference between row 1 and 2 for e and f seats except 1 is near the galley and 2 is near row 6 in j where there may be children
- General: There is limited direct aisle access as the configuration is 2-3-2. The rear J cabin will have Y pax move through on boarding.
- Solo travelers:
- Couple: 7 j and k are great if you don't mind the missing window. It's in the private mini cabin - a great choice unless you like window gazing. You also don't get y traffic passing through this cabin as you turn left on entry!
- General comments: Y on the 777 is for slim people.

I would definitely pick A/E because getting to the lavs from F/K requires walking through a busy galley at times.

How do i know exactly wich type of seat i get?
Hi! I´v booked DXB-MRU in business class 30/4-2012 and i wonder wich type of seat im getting. Emirates have change aircraft from 330-200 to 777-300ER. Do i get the old business seat or the new one? I get a little bit confused when i look at Seatguru etc.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9300; en-GB) AppleWebKit/534.8+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.0.534 Mobile Safari/534.8+)
These are now classified as exit row seats, so you need to get to check in early, and ask nicely.
Good luck

I'd get an exit row aisle on the 348 but a row of 4 at the back on 349 as its usually quite empty.

Single Traveller in Y on the 777-300ER / A380-800
I am debating between a bulkhead and one of the twosomes at the back on the 77W and between a bulkhead and non bulkhead on the A380.
I am kinda scrawny so width is less important than legroom. On the 77W does 46B/J offer increased legroom? Or is the bulkhead better? I will try for an exit seat but I need a backup!
On the A388 seat guru says 45 DEFG have "a lot" of extra legroom. I don't know if it I trust it though. I am currently in 43H. Which is better?
Thanks!!
