Veuve, Dom, bottle of amuse bouche all due to service recovery issues.

I generally always take a large bottle of water off.

So how about that British general election....

I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts on what the devalued pound could mean for EK fares? I pay in AUD usually so I'm hoping for a bit of a boost, but then again a strong USD often pushes the fares up.

Anyone got thoughts?

I doubt there'll be much impact in the short term. IME EK Takes a few weeks to adjust to exchange rate fluctuations, and not sure how permanent the current GBP dip will be.

Not to be judgmental (i too love McDonalds nuggets) but I don't think I would pair Dom with a quarter pounder and fries.

Agreed - Dom pairs with the McNuggets, but the quarter pounder is more for one of bigger reds on board, ime.

EK have got slightly more expensive ex-UK in premium but fares have dropped in Y on a GBP basis - lots of competition ex-UK and it shows in their margin that they haven't been able to offset the GBP drop since 2016.

And F fares have gone up to compensate

Isn't that being spun as "no more F savers"

Savers are there just more expensive and if you add a decent stopover they end as flex plus.

I've spent a lot less this year so thanks EK for the unattractive pricing

Ditto. Unfortunately, my next flight will be my last flight with Emirates for a while especially when Thai are offering prices much cheaper for F....Never thought I would see the day!.
