EK Wifi Coverage map

I know the Wifi login pages (onboard.aero) were redesigned a month or two ago, but hadn't opened them on my laptop until today. I noticed they now include a coverage map, which I downloaded and am posting here for future reference for anyone who may be interested, as I think this isn't accessible other than via OnAir?

I can confirm that OnAir does not work over China.

This means that to/from ICN OnAir does not work for most of the flight

Well, if internet over China is anything like internet in China many of us may find it just doesn't work. While in China I remember all of my Google service being unavailable and it made it feel like I wasn't connected at all.

Having lived and worked in China for 2.5 years, any threads I see about people visiting, I always advise them to install a VPN on their devices before travel. Don't know if I would have survived without it

A friend of mine, flying on EK last year, sent me some Whatsapp messages about an hour before landing in PEK so it does work (sometimes ).

On a semi-related note- checked into the "B" business lounge this evening and the woman at the front desk checked a print out she had on her desk (unprompted) to tell me that my flight tonight had wi-fi available....the 48min flight time flight from Dubai back to Bahrain.
This may be useful information for some, but seems a little odd to me.
