Reduced taxes during flight date change
Ok not sure what's the sensation here, that EK website actually gave me a flight change quote (on an open-jaw itinerary nontheless!!) or that taxes somewhere appear to have been reduced (it couldn't be India, they bang on another tax every other week)
This is a straight-up date change (postponement by 3 months) on the exact same flights on a Y Flex. $3 for a flight change, what a treat.
Thinking of nesting a MS (EgyptAir) J return for $750 into my schedule hence this... I think I'm already regretting it (requires positioning flights).

The website does very weird things sometimes. My first trip in F in EK happened by chance. I had a LGW-DXB-DEL ticket booked as J flex.I had to change plans and therefore attempted to change date and destination to BOM.
One of the options given was a F ticket for a change fee of around £20 !!!.
Obviously I took it immediately. My original ticket was J flex and I was given tier and skywards miles for F Flex (at the time ) after the flight!!!
