EK is currently in the middle of delivery of 14 consecutive A380 serial numbers (216 through 229).

216 and 217 were just recently delivered, with 218, 219 and 220 currently going through final flight testing in Hamburg, and should all be delivered within the next few weeks.

221 through to 227 should all be delivered by year end as they are all currently in Hamburg at various stages of outfitting.

This leaves A6-EAK & A6-EAQ. However A6-EAQ has been in maintenance since 29/09/2016 so it might have also left the fleet.

Looks like all the 332's, 343's, and 77E's are finally gone, and no longer in the EK fleet.

Now I figure they will concentrate on retiring the 773's.

It seem`s that the first 777/300ER has been stored: A6-EBL

On the 777/300 fleet; 3 frames have left: A6-EMO + A6-EMS and A6-EMW (crashed)

The next 777-300ERs to leave will be EBA, EBP, EBS, and EBT... All 2 class frames.

2 more 777-300s will depart by March 2017, with the rest of the fleet gone by calendar year end 2017.

EK will continue to retire primarily leased 777s over the next 18 months, and replace them practically on a one to one basis with new 777-300ERs.

There will be modest fleet and capacity growth driven by new A380 deliveries. By March 2018 all of the current tranche of 115 A380s will be delivered, plus the 2 ex-BC frames that were never completed and are still in TLS that EK purchased and will outfit as 2 class frames (MSN 162 & 167).

Roughly calculating, the EK passenger fleet will consist of 117 A380s and 143 777-200LR/300ER aircraft by the end of March 2018. The freighter fleet will consist of approximately 15 777F plus possibly still a few leased 747 freighters.

Amazing to think the smallest airfame in the fleet is a ultra ultra long rang 777. Who in their right mind would of saw this happening five years ago.
