How do you lose 2 Skywards cards?! Don't they just get buried in a travel wallet somewhere, only to be dragged out when doing an on-board upgrade or e-gate in DXB?

They got torn out ..
The one from another airline with leather strap and metal tag is still here after 15+ years ...
EK plastic tag is absolutely not at the image of gold/plat.

I agree they shouldn't be too flimsy, I had one of my tags bent in half after a few weeks, however I think the point of the tags is to just last a year, so...

Don't know if it's just me, but I would have preferred all the cards to feature Dubai?
I have no link to Paris, but that's the card I would get. Whereas I would understand it if it featured Dubai. It's not like Dubai is short of a landmark or 2 to feature!
I know they're an international airline, and they do fly to Paris - but it means nothing to me. Ah well... Back to real problems... Haha

And Paris and London are in the same region. They should have chosen at least one from Asia (including India).
For Dubai, you can have Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, then what else ? A camel ? A dhow ? A coffee pot ? Not that obvious

Also if your old card is registered for E-gate and you can't be bothered to update it to the new one, you'll still have to carry the old one around with you!
