Emirates to launch Bologna (BLQ)
EK is set to launch Dubai to Bologna, Italy flights eff from 03NOV15 as just announced this morning in Bologna.
It's a daily 77W 3class service

As far as I recall, BLQ is served neither by QR nor by EY, but by TK. This may signal the willingness of EK to take head on what is undoubtely its most serious competitor.

TK up to 3 times a day to IST.

I remember AZ want to start flights to AUH (in cooperation with EY) anytime soon.

I hope that at BLQ airport something is going to change: nowadays, the lounge is terrible, the area extra-Schengen is very small and there are no fingers...

Translation: "finger" is Italian for Jetway or jet bridge.

Italians think that because there's a similar English word (each of the four slender jointed parts attached to either hand (or five, if the thumb is included)) it's actually proper English usage in an airport context!
