Summer is hell here but hey a Dubai do in July post Ramadan sounds good!

That time of year we need one with good indoor options - perhaps trateur at the park Hyatt?

I have a family commitment in Australia this US summer - but if I can make it, I will. We should do something aviation related. Zol and I can have another crack at EK HQ again. And as far as I am concerned, brunch at the Park Hyatt is mandatory!

I just had brunch at Trateur two weeks ago and it was awful. They changed the champagne from Veuve-Clicquot to some other BS and jacked the price to 695 AED! Westin Bubblelichious is a much better brunch and the seafood is amazing!

If you guys are stuck on Park Hyatt, I am out...

Dont be silly, if the PH is now rubbish then lets ditch it. I'm going to take the advice of the waterlogged locals. Thanks for the heads up...

I've not been the the PH brunch for a while so can't comment but my favourite brunch in Dubai is bubbilicous at the westin. It's very good - there is even a "lab" with liquid nitrogen margarita shots and other cool shots in various scientific bottles!

Also there are much better after brunch options down there ie barasti

Yeah, they'd switched the champagne just before the last Do. The new stuff tasted OK to me - but I'm no expert.

I was just thinking about the Do this morning.

Count me in. Any date is fine with me, but just to stir things up, how about having it around mid May to early June?

I'm in Barbados for a couple of weeks (last week in May, first week in June), so I wouldn't be able to make it. However, it's not all about me

I'm all for the Westin as its in walking (stumbling?) distance of my apartment.... Al Qasr's brunch was pretty tasty last time I was there

Have a couple long weekends in that time frame but should be good to go

Not my favorite. The Westin in the best big brunch.
