Does anyone know why 747 is delayed

My husband is flying on 747 today does anyone know the reason for delay? He said the delay keeps pushing back and that it may even be cxl'd. I hope not because there isn't any rebooking space open until next week.

Never mimd, talked to him. There was a mech issue with the plane. They sat on the aircraft while they attempted to repair the problem. After 2 1/2 hrs they disembarked the pax and they are now waiting for an update. Hopefully an upgrade aircraft from a 332!

1. How could anyone help you when you give no info on the origin and destination?
2. First you say it's a 747 (does EK have any pax-carrying ones still in their fleet? I thought it's purely cargo now), but then it transforms into a Airbus 330.

I don't see how you guys were confused... EK has never operated passenger 747s so it was only logical that the OP was referring to EK flight # 747.

I thought maybe EK bought some 747-8i and then a delivery delay was announced.
I can dream.
