Very limited booking window, and fairly limited travel window ; but a great bonus for anyone who fulfils the criteria ......

Indeed.

They've immediately given the impression that you have to purchase a ticket above Ł400 but the terms and conditions do not say this at all. This is good for me anyway since I am booking tickets very soon to DXB very soon.
