Wow! Great news! It will be so successful. I'm so glad they are doing very well. Lots of competition, eh?

Odds for a DXB-HNL nonstop?

"Only" 8,500 miles or so.

There is a fourth daily service to Tehran. Nothing announced, it just appeared in the booking engine, so not sure if it is permanent or just temporarily using up aircraft allocated to flights they are not operating at the moment. But great news for folks who spend a lot of time in Iran, departs IKA at 7:00 PM, can be back in Dubai in time for dinner on Thursday nights.

Emirates replacing -200LR on BRU route. The -300ER will be operating this route on daily basis.

The freed up B77L will be redeployed on the DXB SEZ route from the same day when EK 707/708 DXB SEZ DXB switches from A345 to B77L.

I was just kidding. I'm up-to-date with Emirates aircraft changes.

Yes right, that's why you mentioned "free 77L" right ... Because you knew it wasn't free.

If you knew anything about Emirates aircraft deployment, you would know that EK doesn't need the BRU change to free up B77L capacity, because there are currently 2 spare frames not accounted for in the winter schedule. But I guess you knew all that and were just entertaining us.

Yawn, you're boring me. Go find something better to do.

I think they have to be on 777-200LR. The A380 won't be reaching to Hawaii. Due to the weight restrictions.

Its only 200 miles longer than DXB-LAX.

I wonder if EK could get approval for DXB-NRT/NGO/KIX-HNL.

On the other hand traffic to Middle East and Africa from HNL is tiny and the flight would just not be worth it unless EK really wants a piece of Japan-Hawaii.

At 600 miles an hour, that's only 20 minutes more flying time. I am no expert on a/c and range, but its an island right at the end of your flight with close to 5-6 hours over water and if for some reason, god forbid you start going low on fuel...
