EK373 BKK-DXB delayed 5 hrs then canceled because of lose cat on plane???

EK373 BKK-DXB delayed 5 hrs then canceled because of lose cat on plane???
EK373 BKK to DXB.

Plane was delayed from 9.30pm takeoff to a 03.15 am take off. Passengers were diverted to other flights and plane left with no pax.

Sources says that someone saw cat running around in cabin...

anyone know more??

Strange for EK to send back an empty plane with just crew...

My friend was due to be on this flight but wasn't told anything apart from techincal issues. Ended up staying overnight in a hotel and on the 9am flight this morning.
