Chauffeur drive for SWG??
Hi all
I have just regained my Skywards GOLD after a number of years having primarially been FF in Scandinavia.
Maybe I'm not remembering correct, but I thourght there was complementry chauffeur drive in DXB for GOLD members?? My next trip is on economy, and I do not see the CD option. Am I all wrong ?? (guess I am )
Regards
/Henrik

I'm flying EK J class into SIN next week but haven't booked a limo. Reason is that I arrive approx 9 am and can't check into my hotel until midday.
Any way around this problem?

I'm not sure how your hotel check-in is related to Chauffeur drive but you can take the car to the hotel and have coffee in the lobby until noon. A lot of hotels will let you check-in early if there is availability.

I am not sure why, but to each his own. Maybe he doesn't have checked luggage and wants to explore the fun of Changi Airport before going through passport control.
Can one book the chauffer drive for some period after arrival? It's probably not set up that way, and they would consider it abandoned if you didn't show up.

Gee, thanks. I assume that the poster can figure that part out, but is asking if he can delay the departure of the chauffer drive -- I guess he would prefer to wait at the airport instead of in the city.

It is an interesting question whether one can book the chauffer drive to depart later than one's arrival. I would be curious to hear if anyone has experience with this.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as too sharp-edged, but saying, you can just hang out in the hotel lobby or maybe check-in early, isn't a very informative answer in a thread about chauffer drive. And "I'm not sure how your hotel check-in is related to Chauffeur drive" is a rather flippant comment, isn't it? It seems obvious what the poster was asking, and the responder is the one who answered dismissively.

Yes, what I was wanting to know is if it is possible to delay the timing of a limo for a couple of hours. I don't have any checked baggage, and if I can't specify a later time, I'll just go into a lounge for a couple of hours and then get the train. No big deal.
It really was trying to be a quite simple, non-oblique (!) question. Some of you guys are the experts and I was just trying to get some information. Sorry.

Sorry about the "obliqueness" of my question.

Is it the EK lounge you plan on accessing on arrival in SIN and can you do that and then walk out?
