Dubai Luggage Issues
Hi Guys
Have a (rather complicated) flight booked from NYC-LON-DXB with British Airways. After this, I need to catch a separately ticketed flight to Maldives around 12 hours later with a different carrier/ Problem is that flight is with a different carrier (Oman Air) and as per my research, they don't have an interline agreement with BA, so i don't think i can through check? I'll try my luck at checkin but not hopeful. How would I go about rechecking baggage at DXB without leaving the airport, as I don't have a VISA. Is this possible? Thanks for your help. |

I'm not familiar with Oman Air nor their interline arrangements, but some of our regular, DXB based members might. You won't be able to collect the bags and re-checkin without clearing immigration. Why don't you try getting a transit visa.
