Urgent help please

Booking with Emirates on the CMB-MLE route (3x)

the first round trip just got removed from my itin (due in 3 days)

the other two round trips still showing up (5/7 days)

my positioning flight still there too

I checked manually with my booking reference, it's simply gone.

what should I do? Contact them? Go to the airport tomorrow when my positioning flight will be and ask? I've of course print outs of all the E-Tickets..

Contacted them (fortunately realised in time)

They said it was weird and it was cancelled for "whatever reason", the booking agent simply had no clue.. said he reinstated the flights.. hopefully it will all come out well.. NOW I am quite panicking.. and usually I'm the calm type..

edit: it already does show up again under "Manage a booking". Not yet in my Skywards account, but that always took some time.

Hopefully solved now..

Check online again whether reinstated... if not call them this is rare and when it does happen it can be a bad screwup.... See if they will FAX you a letter (scanned on email should be fine) confirming your flights

And you are gold so talk to the gold desk in DXB

It's Mercator's "duplicate flight" algorithm. You are booked on the same flight(s) multiple times in consecutive days so the system autocancels them thinking it is some sort of fraud. Common problem.

Better keep a close eye on the next ones in case they disappear too.

Just curious - how would the fraudster benefit? I've had my credit card swiped before and used to buy airline tickets, but always wondered how people make money out of it - since you have to present some id (passport pretty much always) in order to fly?
