Please keep in mind that for a daily DXB-MEL-AKL; EK needs 2 frames!
It probably balances out with the fact that AMS and LHR don'r require a full aircraft, but it will still be a tight squeeze to operate that program with just 24 aircraft once MEL AKL upgauges.

Wilco mate.
A6-EDB, A6-EDD and A6-EDE should be out soon. By the end of this month for sure. They've already been out of service for quite some time now (a little under 1 month).

An additional Emirates A388 may be out of service for up to 4 days until unscheduled maintenance is carried out in Hong Kong after an incident involving A6-EDQ operating UAE384 from Dubai via Bangkok on the 7th of April. Which saw the aircraft suffer two burst tyres of the Right Main Gear on landing.
The return flight to Dubai via Bangkok (UAE385) was cancelled as a result of the incident.
Expect to see more scheduled A380 flights to be operated by B777s over the next couple of days.
A video of the incident can be found in the link below:

Today (09/04/2012) saw A6-EDQ operating UAE7373 back to Dubai from Hong Kong.
A6-EDQ was involved in an incident which saw the north runway of HKIA closed for several hours as a result of the aircraft suffering two burst tyres on landing.
A sixth (and even a seventh) Heathrow flight is definitely in the planning, so we can expect EK to start such a flight as soon as it can obtain the necessary Heathrow slots.
Right now, within the EK DXB hub operation, an additional early morning departure slot around 6.45am would be the most optimal addition to the existing LHR offerings. Such a flight would further relieve the pressure from the high demand EK001 and cater to the very early DXB arrivals.
That said, all will of course depend from what kind of slots the airline can get its hands on at LHR.
A sixth daily departure would be nothing short of amazing. Assuming, and this is purely speculation, that the sixth daily is indeed a 0645hrs outbound out of DXB, where would a seventh daily fit in?
Maybe alongside the current EK001 to relieve pressure on what is probably the most in demand flight on the EK network?
There is an article in today's Financial Times saying that EK is lobbying BAA and the govt to relax night flight rules to permit 380s to land and depart up to 1am and from as early as 4am. The key points are:
- the aircraft is more quiter than previous generations of planes
- they could use a steeper approach to land (5.5 instead of 3 degrees angle) and take-off
- the could land further down the runway (at the 1km mark)
These factors would limit the number of homes affected by noise and increase movements overall and enable EK to increase its daily flights to 7.

Which one is that? Hmmmm. I am not quite sure. How many aircraft will put back on revenue route. Soon, EK#22 (A6-EDW) A380 will delivery next week. If those date is subject to change.
I can`t see a A380 for GRU, LAX or SFO that soon.
Rather a second flight to JFK, MAN or CDG.
Probably not anytime soon unless If A380 will delivery sometime end of 2012. IF they will plan to put on entire A380 to SFO, LAX or GRU. I think EK will added third daily DXB-JFK-DXB, if necessary. It will operated A380 or 77W aircraft.

Well all three aircraft have been out of service for at least a month now (A6-EDB, A6-EDD and A6-EDE). So they should be due out soon. Whereas the others have either just entered or been in for a couple of weeks.
Hopefully A6-EDW will be coming next week. But we all know how quickly that can change.
