Another which seat question

Apologies if this has been asked a thousand times already.

Im travelling back to Afghanistan on the 28th April and this will be the first
time ive flown business (Army wages unfortunately dont allow it more)

Anyway the flight is EK 004 from Heathrow to Dubai. 777 - 300ER

Any of the seating plans ive looked (seat guru - seat expert) dont match up with each other, including Emirates own website. 1 says the flight is a 2 class and the other on my booking page says its a 3 class.

My question is: Ive still got a choice on my booking page of the following rows and seats and would love some advice on which people with more experience than me would go for?

Row 7, Row 8, Row 9, 10 and 11.
The seats in 9 10 and 11 are all available whilst its just the window seats
in 7 and 8.

Thanks in advance...

Hi
It is a 3 class 777 as bus starts at row 6. Row 7 is a good bet it is the second row of the small bus cabin (only 2 rows in it) bulkhead behind to the gally, you will be first served at meal time as they start from the front of the cabin and work to the back, down side is you only get 1 window and not 2/3.
Row 8 onwards is the main bus cabin seperated from eco by a bulkhead so if you are at the rear you can get noise from eco. Any selection will have full recline so that is not a problem. Hope this is of assistance.

I fly in 7A/K because of the following explaination. You also don't heave all of economy walking through your cabin to their seating.

Hi everyone,

I' ll be flying with Emirates Airbus A380 in economy class..I wanna ask if anyone knows about the seat that has bulkhead behind it. All the bulkhead comments are actually for the seats those called bulkhead row. However this is the one in front of it. Anyways is there any limited seat recline for those seats?? Why I wanted to choose was that I could recline all the time without disturbing anyone.. It says on official site that recline is 6 inches but nothing bout the seats im talking about. Any help or suggestions??

Thanks in advance

can I ask for Y 777-300Er, is row 17 good? Its the bulkhead row. What exactly do they mean by bulkhead?

if i choose to seat next to a bassinet seat, if there are babies onboard, does the airline have the right to give them the seats at the bulkhead and then move me somewhere else instead?

the bulkhead is ok.

You do have some extra leg room, but if there are babies on board and you have to put up with the basinett its not a good option.

However if it is a childless flight - it can be a good option.

Personally I would choose to find a seat with a spare next to it, if thats possible.

I have had seats blocked next to me, but the last time I asked I was told we don't do it.

So if I am flying in Y - i select a seat that has a good chance of no one sitting next to me, like down the back - in the middle.

Sometimes its a better option to be comfortable , and a bit delayed on arrival.

Personal choice.
