I'm on an LGW-BKK with EK on Friday and then back again in a week. The flight numbers outbound are EK10 and EK372 and back to LGW they are EK385 and EK15. I'm afraid I don't have KVS. Would anyone be able to tell me if ICE will be installed? BTW I'm flying in Y.

Just FYI - if your tickets are flexible, try and change on to EK418 for the DXB-BKK sector (if the flight is full, you can ask at check-in.) It leaves 40 minutes earlier than your current flight and has ICE.

Cheers for that, I saw it. I'm on an el cheapo ticket (hence probably on the flight times I am) so zero flexibility. I will try at check in though tonight.

Could anybody tell me how to make a seat reservation after booking alrready made ?
It should be a 772 with ICE. (although it does change to a non ICE 773 something) To hold a seat you have to join Skywards (if flying Y) and then you can phone any EK office to do it.

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with the following:
Have booked Business Class Seats on Emirates to Mauritius:
9 Oct ek2 LHR to Dubai - then ek701 to Mauritius
Return is on 20 October ek702 , then joining up with ek1
Could you please let me know if the seats and entertainment are the same the whole way ? what would be best seats to reserve ?

Hi,
LHR-DXB-LHR (EK1/2) is a 777-300ER with nice business class seats (60" pitch or so) and the ICE inflight entertainment.
DXB-MRU-DXB is on old 773s which have not been reconfigured yet. So you will get a 46" seat pitch, and VOD but not ICE.

Thank you very much for info, now I know what to expect!. I presume to DXB - MRU 773 is on ly 2 class (no chance of upgrade!!)
Which seats would you reccomend that I book ? have heard that sometimes the seats at the back of business class have restricted pitch? thanks again for your help.

hi,
upgrade on MRU-DXB seems to be impossible since there aren't even any F class seats left for sale. However, you could try on the other segments. On the 777-300ER, I would take the second row of the first cabin (Row 7.) There is full recline / seat pitch and the mini cabin is very comfortable.
On the 777-300, it would depend on whether or not your would sleep. The bulkhead is good because no-one is protuding on your already restricted legroom, but the seat pitch is slightly less.

Thanks again, so what seat number would be best for sleeping on the 777 300 ? cheers
