Lower number of points needed for status
I got a mail from LY, couldn't find it in English on the wonderful website:
Until June 30th 2018 lower thresholds for status:

SL 500 points or 400+10 flights
GL 1000 points or 800+20 flights
PL 2500 points or 2200+30 flights

It was temporary until the end of July and was now extended for another year.

Yes, it means one RT business class flight to the US gives you Matmid Silver status which entitles you to a second suitcase.

The new temporary threshold for Silver should really become permanent. The old threshold was way out of touch with the points/miles needed to attain the first tier on the competition.
