New Catering at LHR Lounge
I'm shocked!
There's a new caterer at LHR - http://1070kitchen.co.uk/. I've no idea who they are. I asked the greeter at the front desk what the deal is and she said there were so many complaints about the quality of the offering from Issola Bella (the previous caterer). I can't say the new offering is any better. In fact, I think it's worse. There's still a salad bar though it seems to have a smaller selection. The pasta has been replaced with couscous and a vegetable selection - see image.
Even though the offering at Heathrow has always been sparce, I'm used to it and plan accordingly. The new offering is not to my liking and as mentioned above - no improvement whatsoever. Who do we need to speak to? Hoow do we convine them this is unacceptable (though it is in line with the terrible equipment we have to put up with in business).

Last time I flew EL AL and was in the new lounge in Heathrow Terminal 4 I was actually rather impressed with the salad offerings in the lounge, and I remember that in Terminal 1 I used to enjoy them, which is surprising, as I have never liked Isola Bella as a restaurant. I'm sure that the new caterer is cheaper though. Makes a lot of sense knowing EL AL ...

And now there's no Burekas.
At this rate, by this time next year, there'll be nothing but a few crackers and a glass of tomato juice.
Disgusting offering considering what we're paying/spending.

Why fly LY then? Your profile says BA Gold, enjoy Flounge, forget about the insulting LY service.
