Well, LY will receive the first 2 from Boeing in the "second half of 2017" but interms of when official service on the plane will commence..will be anyone's guess. I imagine it would be 2-3 months after that, as Air Canada took about 2 months before they put theirs into service after receiving them.

I have no actual idea but my guess is no F but yes Economy Class Plus (not real Y+)

C would be 2-2-2 and Y 3-3-3. Probably similar density as exists on the 767

This is also my guess.

For the 788, I would say:

-24 flat bed seats in a 2-2-2 layout for C
- 36 Y+ seats (9 abreast, 35")
- 191 Y seats (9 abreast, 32")

Just my guess

The Current Production Table on All Things 787 says Late July for the 1st 787 to LY which will be a lease from ALC.

They've removed F seats from other wide-bodies to make the class smaller as it is, and anyways no F on the 767s which the 787s are mostly replacing. F is also slowly disappearing and many of the airlines that LY competes with, and with very limited exceptions on BA to/from LHR, there's no F between Israel and Europe (some 787 routes) or on other long-haul routes to/from Israel that the 787 will fly.

What's the point of F? No other airline is sending F to TLV (no more BA, maybe one LX a day at goofy hours)

Lie Flat J = death of F.

BA do send F once a day. Also KE operate F to TLV (seasonally). LX does not operate first class to TLV, however do allow business class pax to seat in the F cabin for a fee.

So it is basically LY (747,777), BA164/5 and some KE flights.

We'll see how long BA continues with F (on this route, at all, etc.). KE isn't a major competitor of LY and even if LY uses their 787s to reach the Far East, that should hardly be a deciding factor on the question of F. As for LX, they don't have F service, and assuming they haven't swapped the aircraft, I don't think they really allow anyone in those seats except HONs and maybe SENs. As a non-M&M *G, I was booked in F, including F on the USA-ZRH leg, but no luck sitting in F seats ZRH-TLV. Booked on F ticket through LX, *G, and willing to pay money to sit there but no dice
