Not surprising to be honest. It's virtually impossible to understand exactly what the fare rules are, when purchasing a ticket on the website.

Not surprising at all. As with everything else on their website, nothing is clear or conforms to any standards

This is what happens when you let lawyers near customers. The text was clearly written by their legal counsel and as is well known in Israel, legal counsel is at the top of the corporate and political pyramid - above the CEO and General Manager.

You mean like this text of so-called "Fare rules" that you see on the website when you want to purchase a ticket? A bunch of questions, but no actual details. "If cancellation is permitted" ? "In most cases no refund is permitted" ?

Fare type: Semi Flexible Economy
Classes Of Booking
to Israel: B/N/H/V/U
from Israel: U/V/K/Q/N/H

Cancellation
Before departure
If cancellation is permitted, a reduced cancellation charge applies according to the ticket fare conditions.
After departure
In most cases no refund is permitted according to the ticket fare conditions.

Changes
Before and after departure
If changes are permitted, then a reduced charge applies according to the ticket fare conditions.

Frequent traveler benefits

Tickets purchased in this fare type grant points based on the second leveled category compared to all other fare types in economy class
Tickets purchased in this fare type may not be upgraded in exchange of points to business or first class compartments

It's a joke, like the rest of the website (including it rejecting Matmid numbers when inputing the last digit, endless login issues, the incredibly irritating requirement to change your password every 6 months etc...).
