Fuel surcharge being raised again

According to Ynet http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3793922,00.html (hebrew), Elal is for the third time this year raising the fuel surcharge.

Anybody know the total fuel surcharge for lonng haul flights?

Long Haul:
188$ (Additional 23$) per segment

Europe:
97$ (Additional 17$) per segment

East Europe, Close Range (Athens/Cairo...):
50$ (Additional 10$) per segment

Why dont they simply include it in the price of the ticket and set it as one
price, Its not like i can choose not to pay it...!

I called last night and the rep told me that the fuel surcharge for a JFK-TLV flight RT is $344.

Welcome... The fuel charge should be the same for both directions,
The info i provided is from EL-AL Agents web site, its possible she gave
you the price including airport taxes and etc...
