I suppose that what you are attempting to say is that you just cannot beet eating a hamburger at a McDonald’s restaurant in Sydney.
And others say punsters should be beat until red.
This reminds me of finding a runny egg on top of a calzone ordered in an Italian take-out place in Menton France right up next to the Italian border. I like calzones and I even like runny eggs - just not together.
Maybe we need a "strange-additions-to-familar-foods" thread.
Pizza Hut in Sao Paulo Airport (not a lot of other options)
KFC in a few Chinese and Indian cities
Wendy's one time in Tokyo
McDonalds in Hungary near the North-western border with Slovakia
SUBWAY in London
A few times (various) in Bangkok

Update: The aforementioned brother is currently in the Philippines for a 6 month work assignment. Apparently one of the specials at the McD's closest to him is the McSpaghetti

Spaghetti is a popular fast food in the Philippines. It's usually prepared Filipino style...the sauce is on the sweet side.
I have been to McDonalds and Pizza Hut in China, Hong Kong, and Macau. McDonald's on Cheung Chau and in Tokyo. KFC in China and Hong Kong. Burger King in Hong Kong. Also, Starbucks in Macau and Hong Kong.
I never used to... in fact I'd sniff at people who ate McDonald's in Madrid...
but last month I was in India and I went to a McDonalds just to see how it was different than McDonald's here in the US. I have to say that the veggie burger was fantastic.

We get the same Mc Veggie over here. I like it as well, though you can't compare to the BK Veggie that you get at home. Actually, the BK Veggie is a Morningstar burger (IIRC), which you can occasionally find here, but it's not the same.
Every time I see this thread, I feel tempted to go out and get some fries... .
