Also OT, still wondering where is wifi free at MickeyD's outside the US, besides the UK? Thanks.
Australia, there's a daily download limit per customer though.

I try to sample McDonald's in each country I visit. It's like a running joke with my family.

While I'll probably never go to a McD/BK/KFC in Germany (ok, I admit, very rarely ) I'd like to try them out in every country I'm going to.

If you're living abroad for a few weeks, especially when you have every meal in a restaurant, once in a while you just dare for some unhealthy burger, chicken or pizza.

Oh, and maybe it's just me, but the McDo's in Asian countries tend to make much better (and mostly healthier) food. I'll just never ever have fries* with it. Prefer two burgers and a drink.

*Unless they've special fries, country cuts or whatever they're calling them. They taste ok.

McDonald's Salzburg - Sept 2008

One morning of SZG DO last year, the_happiness_store and I had breakfast together. [booked Crowne Plaza thru Priceline for cheap = no b'fast perks]

Nicest McDonald's I've ever seen.

I thought this about the burgers at McD's and BK on Calle Florida in Buenos Aires. But since they proclaim their meat is domestic (as all restaurants in Europe similarly do) it makes sense that they'd seem different, like their steaks, since their cattle are grass-fed. Now, I should acknowledge that I may have the cause-effect backwards -- e.g., they may seem so because they say so.

And McD's fries burn my stomach, everywhere.

(Can't believe that I'm going on about the *finer* points...)

One of the fun US Fastfood overseas stories is BK in Australia, it's called Hungry Jacks here. Long story, google it though, funny reading.

When I was in London (UK) a couple of weeks ago, they had a limited special Canadian burger. Not sure what special about it...

Also, in Paris, McD serves beer!

Beer at McD's is why I've eaten at them (just twice!) in Germany.

When younger and even more foolish, couldn't resist a strawberry shake at McD's near the Colliseum.

Yeah a moose burger would have been special.. I've actually eaten moose meat and Bison burgers. They're quite nice. Not gamey and lower in fat.
I cant believe they still have that Canada burger the other side of the Atlantic. What a ripoff. Haha..(here's a secret: no such thing as a Canadian burger)

McD's in Oz just to see the different names of the foods over there. I was curious if they were like the ones mentioned in Pulp Fiction for England.

It would have been nice if they had kangaroo burger. I've had kangaroo meat before. Very lean..

I'll be going to Spain in 40 days. I'll check out the McD there..
