You can buy JW Blue in any Supermarket in Macau (SAR of China, close enough I say) for about $1050 MOP which @ todays rate is about $135USD / $160 AUD ish...
Spirits and beer are very very cheap in Macau - I don't know why or how I know as I don't drink, but anyway...

Another local deal for anyone arriving into Aussie ports: at SYD last night I received a '$5 off any $25 purchase' voucher.
My suggestion, unless you have something in mind:
buy four promotional 0.2L spirit bottles (JW Black, Baileys, Absolut and many, many more);
your impromptu $28 minibar will cost you only $23, with a choice of drinks, all sized to suit a quick trip.
You should also get a 'scratchie' (scratch & win) ticket.
There is currently a $20 voucher on offer for any $200 purchase, but I can't recommend any 'best finds' in SYD to get you to that amount, in terms of drinks.
Also, is there any US Customs limitation for bringing in alcohol from SJU?
Thanks for checking/reporting any pricing you find at the port or airport.
The linked info really needs an update.
Considering the USD has fallen ~21% and the peso ~20.8% against the AUD in the past 6 months, many Aussies would get a great deal out of Mexican discounters. Kiwis might find the same savings, if not even more.
I imagine EU-zone FTers may make some savings of perhaps 10% on currency savings, too,, while USD-peso is around the same rate, in relative terms, over the past 6 months (correct me if I'm wrong...).
not to mention the continuing undervaluation of China's yuan; the great deals in Shanghai, Macau and other airports (listed in the first & second posts) may still be there, as good as before or even better value.
Enough about currency values and savings, where are the duty free drink deals?
Best place I have found for booze is AMS. Not only can you pay with your CC in euros or USD but the prices are so cheap especially when flying out of the EU. I got 2 1L Absolut Vodka bottles for $26 USD total. They retail in the US for $40 a bottle.

$40 is a bit high for normal prices on a 1L bottle of Absolut. I think the most I ever paid was about $42 for a 1.75L bottle, and that was in NYC at about the most expensive / ripoff liquor store I know of. $26 for two bottles is still a very good deal I think, but not a savings of $27/bottle.
I actually prefer Smirnoff (the cheap regular kind), over Absolut, and it happens to be cheaper - I think I paid about $20 for two 1L bottles in BOM a couple months ago.
Swooped in on a eBay auction for 50 pounds worth of on-board duty-free vouchers for BA... And got them for a measly $26 US with shipping. Picked up a bottle of 18 y.o. Glenfiddich and a big box of Belgian chocolates with the loot and I was a happy camper, as I saved probably as much as I spent.
