Bought Bacardi for 11.50€/liter in DUS last week, not a big rum fan, but okay with a Cuba libre, plus if you're in Sweden you'll drink anything (exept those 3.5% beers).
With the current exchange rate thats about US shelf price

I'm updatingthe index with prices at the time of posting converted to USD$ with www.xe.com.
No visits to the international terminal for me this month, so I've just bought some vintage release Penfolds wines and a few others. The only whisky I've bought has been tastes of the stuff distilled by Lark in Hobart, Tasmania.
Surely someone amongst the 150k FTers has found something worth mentioning, duty free, on international flights this week.

Johnny Walker Black Label (1 liter) on board SQ flights: SGD 42.00 = USD 30.76, I think it was SGD 47.00 at Changi DFS....but they had these 1.1 liter bottles with promos if you bought 3 and a free bag, etc...

By its absence above, was there no JW Blue sold by the onboard SQ Duty Free?
I'll link your info to the index - cheers, SuperFlyBoy!

Well, given that the item was a gift, and the recipient prefers *quantity* over quality...
However, here is the current pricing for SQ's in-flight shop, KrisShop:
JW Blue, 75cl.: S$175.00 (approx. US$121 - as per the catalog)
JW Gold, 75cl: S$81.00 (approx. US$56 - as per the catalog)
Jack Daniels, 1 liter: S$38 (approx. US$27)
Chivas Regal, 1 liter: S$42 (approx. US$29)
The Macallan, 700ml: S$135 (approx. US$93)
Remy Martin, 700ml: S$142 (approx. US$98)
Hope this helps!
Don't know if PPS members still get the 10% off on board purchases (it's not mentioned in the catalog), as SQ is cutting quality (and other things) substantially!
Edited to Add: The above prices from the Mar-May 2008 catalog.
Recently in the Delhi Airport, one of the duty free shops in the arrivals area was having a buy one get one free Smirnoff Blue Lable made in England . The price for the 1 Litre 50% alcohol bottle was $8 U.S. The second 1 litre bottle was free. On the departures side J.W. Black was buy 2 -1 Litre bottles and get the 3rd 1 Litre bottle free. Total price for the 3 bottles was $57 U.S. or $19 Each. Delhi airport has some of the best Duty free prices for alcohol that I have ever seen..
Hi, have you noticed the new features on FT?
Specifically, the Social Groups (in My FlyerTalk) and some of the new links?
I'd like to incorporate Duty Free Best Finds into a group, for anyone interested in sharing or finding a deals on drinks - and getting it home without confiscation.
Please PM you interest.
I'll get a group set up, if it's a practical use.
Let me know how to improve and update this resource. Thanks!

I must concur....Dehli is marvelous for DF shopping!
Other Airport DF shops with spectular prices on booze and cigarettes:
ASU (Asuncion, Paraguay): Carton of Marlboro's = $10
Johnny Walker Black = $20
GRU (Sao Paulo, Brazil): Carton of Marlboro's = $15
Johnny Walker Black = $25
SIN was pretty good value.
A QF crew member agreed it was still much better value than SYD, where we were both headed.
My old index shows my favourite buy, JW Blue, as USD$120 (0.7L) and USD$160 (1L).
However the good buys were other items.
Absolute's new party package, for Christmas (more likely Chinese New Year), Absolute Decadence, in the red sequin dress, is SGD $35 - a good buy for a limited edition with great packaging.
We tried 15, 18 & 21 yr old single malts at SIN Duty Free and that was fun.
Baileys' new variety, 'Baileys with a hint of Coffee' is also worth trying.
