1) A Scandinavian herring platter with new potatoes and dill butter in early Summer
2) Assorted fish eggs ( vendace, whitefish, burbot, salmon ) and fish liver on toast garnished with chopped red onion, smetana and black pepper. From Christmas to March.
3) Osaka style pressed mackerel sushi at any old-fashioned take away in the namesake city
4) Sichuan style fish soup ( a lot of hot peppers included ) at my current neighbourhood upscale Sichuanese place
5) Korean steamed & vinegared crab in one of the Shinsa-dong area specialist restaurants in Seoul
And for something less fishy
6) The Sundays only Wienerschnitzel with real Austrian garnishes and a glass or two of Styrian wine at Esser's Gasthaus in Cologne
1. Steak, served rare or blue rare.
2. Lobster.
3. Crab.
4. Raw oyster.
5. Sushi.
6. Cheap cup ramen. For when you start taking the above five for granted.
I'd add drinks to this list:
1. Canadian Niagara region icewine.
2. Australian Shiraz red.
3. Canadian Niagara region table white wine.
4. Espresso.
5. St. Ambroise, Oatmeal Stout.
6. Perrier. Because you can only take the above so often without condemnation out of heaven.

Butterfish from Roy's Poipu Beach, HI
Seared foie gras from Restaurant les Bouquinistes, Paris
Food for the Gods (a Philippine dessert made with lots of butter and chopped dates)
My mother's pumpkin pie, still warm, with real whipped cream
Deep dish Chicago pizza
An Italian beef, juicy with hot peppers from Mr. Beef in Chicago
(Heaven will have much more than this - these are just the first six that popped into my head.)
Well, the obvious answer is Ambrosia, but I'll go for:
1. Baguette with butter from any boulangerie in Paris.
2. Steak Frites from Chez Georges in Paris or Bisteca from Osvaldo (see no.5)
3. Moules from Chez Leon in Brussels
4. Frisse Salad, also from Chez Georges in Paris
5. Mushroom Torteloni with Truffle Cream sauce from Taverna Osvaldo outside Firenze.
5. hmmm - dessert - anything from France that features butter cream and chocolate.
Now, can we talk about the wines?
Oh - I need room for Foie Gras in Alsace. So many foods, so little time....
