I've never been to a Hard Rock Cafe, but I live directly across the street from the one in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

I've been here for four months now and I plan to go there at some point before my two years here are up. I watch people coming and going every night. It would be a shame to live so close but never go there!

I felt bad my first night in New Orleans going to, of all places, Hard Rock Cafe. I'm hitting a local creole joint tomorrow.

Let's see...

London
San Juan, PR
Stockholm
New York (old one by Carnegie Hall, not the new one on Times Square)
Kona
Maui
Lake Tahoe
Nassau
Copenhagen
Paris
Berlin
Cabo San Lucas
Hollywood, CA

There have got to be more, but I just can't remember for certain. Missed Bangkok and Singapore due to lack of time. Swung by Tokyo Roppongi too early in the day, they hadn't opened yet. I'll catch Honolulu next July.

Honolulu, Hawaii--coolest item on display: the Cadillac "Woodie" station wagon over the bar.

Manchester, UK--met my boyfriend there in May of 2005. We went back there in October of 2006.

London, UK--was there in July 2005, HOT weather, when I requested "a glass of water" with my food order, I received a tall glass filled with plenty of ice and cold water. Not always obtainable, not specifically requested, but very much appreciated. Thanks Liam! (he was a great waiter) Sadly, the kitchen caught fire that day AFTER I left. Thankfully no one was injured, but they were closed for awhile.

Hollywood, California: coolest item on display: The Chris Thompson band doing a live performance for the ABC Trust. Chris rocks!

Washington, DC--coolest item on display: Freddie Mercury's red leather pants. I miss ya Freddie!
