The Spumoni at The old spaghetti factory restaurants has long been a personal favorite although perhaps not my ultimate favorite.

Their other offerings are fantastic as well.
I went here for the first time last night. Best ice cream I've had in as long as I can remember. I had the Coffee Toffee Coffee and Sweet as Honey....the former in particular was amazing!

Every single flavor I have had here is amazing. Truly the best ice cream shop in the country, IMO (and that's saying something - there is a lot of good ice cream in NYC alone).

Black Dog Gelato in ORD does some absolutely wonderful flavours. I love their refreshing cucumber & rosewater one.

At home in Australia, I love Gelato Messina's crazy special flavours which they change weekly. Past highlights have included Fairy Bread gelato (brings back childhood memories for every Australian kid!); strawberry gelato with strawberry glazed donuts mashed into it; matcha gelato with yuzu syrup and mandarin cake.

Off the supermarket shelves, I do love my Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns or Red Velvet.

But in general, a good strong matcha ice cream is my favourite icy indulgence, bar none!

Green & Blacks salted caramel, of the supermarket varieties. Haagen Dazs is ok, if somewhat sweet. I cannot stand Ben & Jerrys - completely sickly.

But the best ice cream ever is from the lady who owns the green caravan on the south side of Treyarnon beach. I'm not sure which local dairy produces the ice cream but every flavour is wonderful, and some seem to change daily.

The Aldeburgh ice cream parlour does Christmas Pudding ice cream, and it remains my all time favourite. A glorious mix between the flavour of xmas pudding and xmas cake batter. Hungry just thinking about it.

Chocolate, pistachio, tiramisu, cookies and cream and more...

At an ice cream parlor anything with either chocolate, coffee or nuts is something I always order.
