I as well. Doing the new fad diet, Whole30. Not bad actually, and I could see doing this regularly, since it's not like you go hungry. So today I made a "Whole30 Approved" ingredient frittata for breakfast (and it'll last a while longer than that).

Inside I've got heirloom carrot, potato, onion, green onion, uncured bacon chicken sausage (Boar's Head--highly recommend if you find it), parsley, and chive. On top is a little salsa I made with tomato, roasted red pepper, fresh green bell pepper, smoked paprika, and Valentina (lazy I know, but I love the stuff).

Me too. I have a bottle in the kitchen and a bottle at the office. I originally bought it to spice up canned soups which I find sooooo bland. I chose Valentina for 2 reasons. It was in the Hispanic food section (as opposed to the Old El Paso / Taco Bell section of the aisle and it's dirt cheap. I think my 370 ml bottle costs a whopping 99 cents.

Bingo on both accounts, and you definitely can't beat the price.

Lamb stifado and some olive oil-soaked toasted bread with a bottle of hearty red wine watching the sun go down on a Greek island.
And at the table next to us witnessing a young, married couple spend their entire meal in silence with each engrossed in their own smart phone.
Generation Selfie appears to have lost the art of communication.

Humdinger of a Lamb Kleftiko with grilled octopus to start.
Lashings of excellent Greek red wine.
I love authentic taverna food.

Lunch today on our Greek sojourn was grilled octopus salad with a walnut dip and fresh bream from the sea opposite our restaurant.

Since it was National Chicken Wings day, I had some nice meaty wings in a slightly-sweet, not too thick BBQ sauce. Yummy!

I knew there was a reason I was craving chicken wings yesterday!

Unfortunately the restaurant where we ate dinner does not have them on the menu so I had a chicken sandwich instead.

I got my chicken wings a day late. Coated in chili lime barbeque sauce. Extra sauce on the side for dipping my celery. Washed down with Gulf Coast Brewing's Backstabber Porter.
