What's the Most Calories you have Eaten in One Meal ?

What's the most calories you've eaten in one meal, Man V Food style ?

I have polished off 9000 calories in a buffet before. Some very calorie intense desserts

Wow!

I've done 2000-2500 after a big cycle but I doubt I could even get remotely close to 9000 in one sitting.....

Unless you're Andre The Giant I wouldn't have thought it would be possible to get near 9000 in one go.

Most oils are 900 cal per 100g, so 9000 cal is 1kg of pure oil.....butter is "only" 7500 cal for 1kg. It would take about 2kg -- or over 4lb. -- of very rich desserts to reach that 9000 cal. Certainly possible, but not easy without causing damage.

That just doesn't even sound like fun.

Agreed 100%. Artichoke dip + Ceaser salad + ribs + walnut cobbler = some incredible amount of calories that I don't even want to think about.

Approx 2200 - Delilah's at the Terminal mac and cheese

OK, not an everyday meal. But saw it on the food network and said... hey, I can be there in under a half hour.

Yummy....

Probably on the order or 3000-4000, back when I did serious weight training.

I don't know the answer to the OP's question, but next time I drive through Amarillo I'm going to starve myself for 24 hours and attempt the Big Texan 72 Oz. Steak Dinner.

You'd have to think that after about 3000 of even the most calorie dense foods you wouldn't have any more room to physically consume more food.

Hardly. I've done well over 3000 Cal at a sitting, and I'm not any kind of
gluttony champion. Not going to do that again, I reckon - those were the
good old days, when I was a mere lad of 50 summers.

Most likely 2000+, but I think I've managed to stay under 3000 in one sitting.
