Disconnected Red by Big Choice Brewing, Broomfield, CO. It's called an India Style Red Ale.

I was in the Broomfield area last week and a friend bought me a 4-Pack of these 16 ouncers. Pretty good brew.

I want to pick up Latitude 48 Deconstructed. Sam Adams released a 12-pack that has 2 bottles of Latitude 48, then 2 bottles each of Latitude 48 "deconstructed", but using only 1 of the 5 types of hops in it.

2 cans Maduro from Cigar City Brewing ((Tampa)
8 bottles Sweetwater 420
1 bottle White Dunes from Grayton Brewery ((Santa Rose Beach)
1 bottle LA31 biere noir from Bayou Teche Brewing Co (out of date and half price)
6 pack Centennial IPA from Founders Brewing Co (Grand Rapids)
6 pack Shiner Ruby Red
4 bottles Paw Paw Peach from Back 40 Brewing (Gadsden, Al)
1 bottle Verns Wheat Wine from Straight to Ale (Huntsville, Al)
1 bottle 4Q imperial red ale from Straight to Ale
4 pack Weedy's Double Knee from Blue Pants Brewery (Madison, Al)
1 bottle Ruination IPA from Stone Brewing Co
1 bottle Lambic Framboise from Lindemans

All beers from Alabama were gifts from BamaVol Jr #1. The rest were purchased locally. I am looking forward to cracking open the Centennial IPA, which I tried for the first time at the Des Moines Beerfest and found in my local bottle shop. The darker stuff is for guests.

I saw the tie-dye Sweetwater delivery truck on the street last week in downtown Panama City. It was a bigger thrill than seeing the ice cream truck! I'd have followed him to Gracie Rae's for a cold one if I didn't have to go back to work.

Steam Whistle has a really neat brewery tour in Toronto. They also believe in free samples, and that your glass should never be empty. So that turned into five glasses when I was there

I've had trouble finding that stuff around here. I need to look harder. (And for Sweetwater 420 too!)

Finally found a case of Latitude 48 Deconstructed. Very neat to taste the single hop varieties!

I can see this leading somewhere. I have been looking at ingredient lists for beers on-line (and on the bottle when available) and have found the beers I enjoy most are brewed with multiple varieties, but I've occasionally wondered if there was one that I might favor more than the others.

My goal is to find the hops that make the beer taste more like grapefruit than actual grapefruit juice so I can start drinking it at breakfast with an impeccably clean conscience.

Some of the varieties were pretty good! We split the 12 pack between three of us, so not all of us sampled every beer. We have another 12 pack, and I'm trying to convince Mr. Kipper that we should open 6 of them, and pour samples of each to taste/compare like that.

LOL, I love it!!! If you find it, let me know, please!

Amarillo hops is what you are looking for. They give the clean, fresh citrusy taste

I have friends who have done the tour, but as yet I haven't had the chance. I will now put it at the top of my list

Added a bottle of 'the Statement' from Schramm's.

Of course, this is a mead and not a beer but ratebeer rates it so it seemed legit to mention it here.

BTW, I hope some of you who attended the Ann Arbor Do had a chance to get some. It is probably long-gone and was rather limited release, but the stores tended to be in the Ann Arbor area.
