Diners CANADA lost AAdvantage, returned December 2016.

Seems the Canadian card has dropped AAdvantge as a redemption partner. Don't recall any announcement about this change. Alaska, Delta and Hawaiian are the only North American airline program partners (yes, I know Hawaii is technically not in North America).

Didn't read any announcement either from BMO|Diners or here, but just checking about making a transfer and could not find AAdvantage as a partner any longer. Anyone know when this occurred? Seems for my purposes at least, Alaska is the only viable airline partner given the changes at BA Avios (and fees added to most awards).

Same when Diners (USA) removed Korean Air or Amtrak. I don't think they recognize that an airline or hotel transfer partner is qualitatively different than an appliance, gift card, or other item in their catalog.

Seems AA is back as a points transfer partner again.
