Diners Cash Advance Limits CAN NOT Be Reduced?
I'm a 20+ yr cardholder of what they now call the Diners Professional card. I'm planning to use virtually all of my credit limit to fund a new Citi checking account, in preparing to do so I called DC customer service to see about reducing my cash advance limit to zero. Get this - they told me that non-corporate cards' credit limits can't be reduced to zero, and furthermore they can't be reduced PERIOD, i.e. my cash advance limit must stay at the fixed amount of 20% of my credit limit.
Is this right, or was I just fed a line of BS?
